Bundle includes 2 Items: (1) Shurflo 2088-343-500 Bypass Diaphragm Pump with (1) Female 1/2" Hose Barb Kit. The Shurflo 2088-343-500 Bypass Diaphragm Pump is a no control, front adapter style pump that uses 12V electric power to deliver dependable performance in high flow, moderate pressure applications. It is designed to accommodate to applications that have external pressure valves plumbed into system. Capable of mounting in any position. A 1/4" female NPT adapter is mounted on the switch port for external bypass hookup. The Shurflo 2088-343-500 has a bypass mode that is useful when you are frequently stopping and starting the motor, which creates the potential for overheating. A spray boom with multiple nozzles, each controlled separately, is a good example of a useful application for a bypass pump since it requires a wide range of flows and pressures. The pump runs regardless of pressure in the system. The flow rate is different if one nozzle is on compared to turning two or more on. Once nozzles are turned off, excess flow is bypassed within the pump. They continue to run without damage once the bypass pressure is reached. A female 1/2" HB kit is included to attach your pump to a hose with a 1/2" ID.
